Why do I need this medicine?
This medicine contains Neomycin, Dexamethasone and Acetic Acid.

It is used to treat ear infection.

Neomycin is an antibiotic and is used to treat ear infections.

Dexamethasone helps relieve inflammation. It is used to reduce redness and swelling in the ears.

Acetic Acid helps to lower the pH or acidity level in the ears to help control the ear infection.
How do I take this medicine?
Shake the bottle well before using.

When using for the first time, pump the spray a few times until you obtain a fine spray. Spray directly into the affected ear(s) at fixed intervals as directed by your doctor. Use for the required number of days as instructed by your doctor. Do not use for a longer period of time than advised by your doctor. Always wash your hands after using the spray.

If you stop using this for more than one week, you will need to pump the spray again a few times until a fine spray is obtained before you can use it.
What should I do if I have forgotten to take this medicine?
Spray the missed dose as soon as you remember.

DO NOT double a dose to make up for a missed dose.

Remember to use your medicine regularly. If you often forget to use your medication, let your doctor and pharmacist know.
When should I not use this medicine?
Do not use this medicine if you have:

- a tear in your ear membrane
- a tube (grommet) inserted in your ear
- a history of allergic reactions to a group of antibiotics called aminoglycosides (e.g. amikacin, gentamicin)

Alert your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
What should I take note of while using this medicine?
Alert your doctor if your condition worsens or does not improve.

Do not spray this into your nose. Ensure that this medicine does not enter your eyes.

Do not share your ear spray with anyone else, even if they seem to have the same problem as you have.
What side effects could I experience?
You may experience a stinging or burning sensation in the ears when you first start using this medicine. This will usually disappear after a few days. Alert your doctor if the problem does not go away.
Can I take this with other medicines?
Inform your doctor and pharmacist if you are using any other ear preparations.
How should I store this medicine?
Store in a cool, dry place away from the reach of children.

Medicines must not be used past the expiry date.

Throw this away one month after opening or when you have completed the required number of days of treatment as directed by the doctor.
